Vendors bill what they think you owe. InvoiceAnchor checks every line. Forward vendor email to your own address, or drag the PDFs in. Invoices wait under the vendor. When the statement arrives, every line is matched. Anything that doesn't agree is flagged, with the reason. Add the missing invoice. Approve right on the bill, or Reject with an optional reason. Mark it paid, and choose how: cheque, EFT, e-transfer. Then send paid bills to QuickBooks Online, or export a file for Sage 50. Business is $350 a month. Fifteen days free, card required.

The problem with paying from a statement

What month-end looks like without a check

It doesn’t match your invoices

A vendor bills what they think you owe. Your invoices say something else, and nobody lines them up until the bill is due.

The paper is in three places

Invoices in email, in the truck, in a drawer. Matching them by hand takes days.

So it gets paid as billed

A missed credit or a wrong-month line goes out with the rest, because checking it takes too long.

Three steps. You only review what doesn’t agree.

01

Send it in

A private address on your Inbox page. Point a mail rule at it, or drag the PDFs in. Scans and phone photos work too.

02

It waits, then matches

Invoices wait under the vendor. When the statement arrives, every line is matched to an invoice.

03

Approve the exceptions

Each line that doesn’t agree says why. Add the missing invoice, then approve or reject right on the bill and mark it paid.

Then it goes to your books

Mark a bill paid, then send it

QuickBooks Online

Questions

Do invoices need to be typed up?

No. Scanned paper, PDFs with no text layer, and phone photos of handwritten invoices all work.

What counts as a document?

Anything taken in and read: one invoice, one statement, one page of a scanned stack. Re-runs of the same documents don’t count again.

What if I go over the included documents?

Nothing stops. We keep processing and bill the difference at $0.15 a document. A shop sending 300 documents a month uses about a tenth of the Business allowance.

Where do paid bills end up?

In File storage, filed by month with the PDF and a CSV export, searchable and permanent. From there you send them to QuickBooks Online or export the Sage 50 file.
